Review of The Fast and the Furious (2001) by Juan H — 12 Feb 2012

I kinda can't believe the low ratings this movie has garnered. The writing is solid. The movie is exceptionally well paced and the dialogue has a surprisingly poignant dictum when spoken between Vin and Paul's character's.

I think that all the good in this film is hidden away behind a bad techno/rap soundtrack and a lack luster auxiliary cast. At the heart of this film is a story (Although not extensively explored) about the law, friendship, love and doing the right thing.
