Review of The Fast and the Furious (2001) by Marshall L — 02 Apr 2015
A completely polarizing movie that was box office gold, I watched this film recently and was mildly amused by it. The girls were hot; the beer was cold and the cars were fast. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the formula, but why mess with success? it's Point Break with street racers and if that doesn't pump your nads, there is plenty of eye candy in the film that will.
It's hard to rate a film like this: the genre is so glaringly obvious, it nearly trips over itself twice, but after stumbling it recovers and sticks the landing. Overall, I gave it a meh because I didn't care about the ending but I finished watching it anyway.
