Review of The Fast and the Furious (2001) by Jacob N — 06 Mar 2014
The stupidity of "The Fast and the Furious" would almost be charming if it weren't so dull. It's a straight-faced riff on "Point Break" lacking the unabashedly mad fun of that film, and even the action sequences are so poorly cobbled together they hardly convey a sense of speed, let alone drama or emotion (and the insert shots of bad CGI engine parts only make it worse).
