First off, I have never heard of this film before. I'm guessing it was released under the radars back in 2005. But I have to say, I was quite surprised with the film. Yes, I agree with some of the reviewers, the film was quite stereotypical of your "Christmas" film, but I thought it was enjoyable.

Also yes, there were some off moments here and there. Some moments were just too cheesy and a little dumb for me, but set those aside, the film was still entertaining. I wasn't too sure about the film's cast.

Honestly, I found most of them a little random. It seems they were probably hired by drawing a name out of a hat. But, I guess that was what made this film unique. The cast was different -- each of them were.

The film's story and plot was a little predictable, but it was fun and entertaining. One thing I noticed was how "the family stone" did not play a prominent role in this film. It was touched on toward the beginning, the middle, and the ending was when they actually exposed the ring itself.

But overall, the film was entertaining. Again, there were some bumps here and there, but those did not affect the film all that much. Plus, unlike most of the reviewers here, I really have no big opinions on any of the actors in this film -- particularly Sarah Jessica Parker.

I try not to be bias in my reviews.
