If you enjoyed "Dan In Real Life," you'll enjoy this movie as well. Some "Sex and the City" fans will be disappointed because Parker doesn't play a Carry type role and actually gets ridiculed by the family she is presented to by her fiance.
I think it's a great film about how a very different, open, yet loving family deals with a person who they believe doesn't deserve to be apart of them. When Meredith(Parker), calls upon her sister Julie to join her for support while visiting the Stone family, the family falls head over heals for Julie and Meredith loses all hope of finding someone who will accept her for who she is(including her fiance).
This film has a great story and Diane Keaton plays a great bitchy mom, lol. Definitely great for the Holidays.
