Review of The Family Stone (2005) by Rachel M — 24 Jan 2011
I remember easily dismissing this one during its theatrical run because it looked like pure crap. I mean, anything with Sarah Jessica Parker in it doesn't speak to me as a moviegoer. Surprisingly, this film managed to emotionally tug at me, and was incredibly enjoyable.
As an actor, it was great to see some stellar work coming out of people who I didn't expect it from.
