Review of The Family Man (2000) by Dave M — 23 Dec 2012
I've seen this several times, and I still really enjoy it. Granted, it's a sappy and far-fetched Christmas tale, but it manages to balance the light-hearted and serious moments very well. Nicolas Cage's bewilderment is amusing, but his sincerity throughout adds some genuine charm to the film.
(Keep in mind, this is before Cage's career went off the rails - this is actually when he cared about the projects he selected.) A great little film that excels in its own niche.
