Review of The Family Man (2000) by Matt M — 15 Feb 2013
Christmas film about a workaholic executive who gets a chance to see what his life would have been like had he married and started a family with a former girlfriend of his. This film takes a Capraesque concept and turns it into a dull and charmless comedy that is neither a family film nor a mature movie.
Eventually, its array unlikeable characters and excess in sentimentality destroys the film's potential.
