Review of The Family Man (2000) by George W — 05 Feb 2009
Hey this makes an awesome film lesson for those of us wanting a reflective time in examining economics. It helps a person look at opportunity lost, trade-offs, needs, wants, ceteris paribus, rationality assumption, self-interest, subjective values.
..it's all in there. How much of your life is absorbed in pursuing what you "think" is the "perfect life? It asks the question...what if? What are the trade-offs in this decision? What is the opportunity cost f moving to the city? What is the opportunity cost of styaing in the suburbs? What is the opportunity cost of committment in relationships? What are some of the losses? I really liked the characters in this film.
