'The Family' (2013) is quirky, satirically dark, and has some nice chemistry between the major characters. This is not the great De Niro from 'The Godfather, Part II' (1974), but the De Niro out to make a quick buck and who's as plausible as the rest of the cast.
It has a lot of immediate flaws and probably would have done better on television, but it's still amusing.
