Review of The Family (2013) by Jose M — 20 Dec 2013
There's a really good chance your privacy will be compromised when it come to movies. Chances are very high if you are hiding from the mafia. Luc Besson's The Family is pretty off the wall film that's humorous until the final moments.
Fred Manzoni (Robert De Niro) is an ex-mobster hiding in a remote village in France. It's a pretty quiet place. He lives with his wife Maggie (Michelle Pfeiffer) and children Belle (Dianna Agron) and Warren (John D'Leo).
They are dysfunctional family trying to make most of their life, but often end up acting on their old habits. People are brutally beaten and buildings are blown up not even Tommy Lee Jones can stop them.
It's often funny with a few miss and hits. I was pretty surprise with the ending since it leaves a trail for a sequel.
