Review of The Family (2013) by Grant K — 05 Jan 2014
There's nothing that memorable going on here but the fish out of water story, (gleefully turned on its head by writer director Luc Besson), darkly humorous hyper-violence, satire of gangster flicks and an overqualified cast, (especially Pfiefer and DeNiro, having a blast here), make for an at least entertaining 90 minutes at the movies.
