Review of The Family (2013) by David B — 21 Feb 2014
I rather enjoyed this film, yes, it was not perfect, nothing De Niro or Besson does these days is classed as classic fare but this film is better than most of the shit that has been aimed at it. De Niro is an old mafia boss that ratted on his brothers and is in the witness protection with his wife and two kids.
They seem to change cities and names frequently as they are all a bit tightly wound. It has some funny moments and the usual violent streaks associated with films of this ilk. Enjoyable enough.
