Review of The Family (2013) by Derek V — 22 Dec 2013
A very strong language film surrounding The Family to be more exact a ex-mob family that rats on the structure of the family and then has to go out into witness protection.
It reminded me of Analyze this and Analyze that but it was more hard nosed and gritty and doesn't pull any punches.
This movie shows that the whole family although is out of the business still has got their edge to them.
Personally I thought the movie had potential but missed the killer blow. The coolest thing was the missile that was shot into the house to kill Robert De Niro's character but it missed.
It also was like a warped Adam's Family movie kinda.
If your into Mafia flicks give this a go you will enjoy it but its not the best but enjoyable.
Ohh and definitely not for the kiddies.
