A decent film that could have been so much more. I would have really liked to see the script embrace the weirdness and metaphors of the story, instead of sheepishly backing away and playing it safe. I also wanted to see more of the darker side to the film, we gets hints of it here and there especially towards the end, but it just leaves you unsatisfied and wanting more of the and dark themes and less of the tacky sets and costumes.
Overall, The Fall is over produced eye candy that is pretty entertaining, but doesn't pay off, and leaves you unsatisfied.
