I feel like it's rare to find a movie that is also a work of art. Also, having the film presented by 2 well known directors, David Fincher ('Fight Club', 'Se7en') and Spike Jonze ('Adaptation', 'Where the Wild Things Are') certainly helps.

Director Tarsem Singh (who is also responsible for taking us into the mind of a serial killer in 'The Cell') brings us 'The Fall', a lush and vibriant tale that is seen through the eyes of a 5 year old.

Lee Pace stars as a paralyzed stuntmen that is having thoughts of suicide. He meets young Alexandria, the wonderful Catinca Untaru, and tries to exchange stories with her so she can go and steal medicine for him.

This bright and imaginative world is almost Oz-like is the sense that Alexandria pulls alot of poeple and characters out of the real world and places them into her fantasy one. The art and direction are memerizing and truly keeps you begging for more as you see their world unfold.

One of the most interesting parts in the film was how young Alexandria is frightened by a doctor dressed in a X-Ray uniform (the film is based in the 1920s when X-Rays were still a new process) and so all the villians in her story all dress that way.

This is definitely a beautifully made movie that deserves to be seen by more poeple.
