Review of The Fall (2006) by Craig E — 06 Nov 2011
This is easily one of the most beautifully crafted films I've seen in years with some incredibly naturalistic acting on the part of the young girl, Catinca Untaru. The awe-inspiring visuals are reminiscent of Baraka, with story-telling akin to Princess Bride meets Pan's Labyrinth.
The narrative's charm and inventiveness more than make up for it's noticeable deficiencies. Well worth checking out.
