Review of The Fall (2006) by Luke J — 08 Feb 2012
The Fall is a very intriguing film. The characters are memorable and likable, both in the real world and the elaborate story Roy creates. Visually, it was incredible, being very organic and authentic. Symbolically, there are many interpretations and many opportunities to interpret, leaving the audience to be either open-minded or confused; to me, it resulted in the former.
The plot outside of the story is good, but fairly generic and exaggerated. Overall, The Fall is worth a watch; if not for the story, then the visuals. They're incredible.
