Review of The Fall (2006) by Joel A — 01 Aug 2013
A Noir film which isn't because the adorable five year old girl keeps demanding a happy ending. Technically she gets one in both the story being told and reality, but the filmmakers are better at being grim than being happy, so you still end up feeling somewhat gypped.
Still good, especially as an antidote to postmodern, Noir stupidity at the movies.
