Review of The Fall (2006) by Jc E — 18 Dec 2013
You have to hand it to Tarsem Singh (Immortals) - he knows how to make a visually striking film. That said, he should probably focus a bit more on narrative. This one isn't as disappointing as his big budget take on Greek mythology, but it's still not as fulfilling as I was expecting it to be.
Catinca Untaru is truly adorable and exudes childhood innocence. Lee Pace (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) is quite amiable, despite his character's dark motives. Singh clearly has talent, but it might be best for him to tackle a credible writer's screenplay.
