Review of The Faculty (1998) by Jordan P — 13 Aug 2010
"The Faculty" is a Robert Rodriguez-directed film about a group of high-schoolers. When the entire school faculty starts acting weird, it's up to the group to figure out what's going on and stop it.
I admit, this is probably one of Rodriguez's worst films he's made, but it's not as bad as people say it is. Yes, it's silly and campy, and has moment of horrible writing, but it's fun. It's good silly fun.
The actors do a pretty good job of portraying the characters from Kevin Williamson's script. But they don't have a lot of depth to them, which you can expect from the screenwriter of "Scream.".
If you're looking for a good time, this may be the film for you. If you didn't like "Scream," then you might not like this.
