A strong cast of young actors move this story along in a real and believable way. The science fiction is well acted with the makeup adding to the alien look that is not too over the top, giving it a soft realism at times with some comedy parts at others.
State education in the USA is just as bad as any other country and any improvement, even alien, is appreciated. Nibbles: Liquorish Sherbet.
