Review of The Faculty (1998) by Pia R — 03 Jan 2010
A fun and creative teenage Sci-Fi Thriller with an all-star cast and a very intriguing storyline. Elijah Wood plays Casey Connor, who's school is taken over by aliens. It's up to him and a group of his classmates to save the day as well as their school and local town.
It's as corny as they come but portrayed very well to come off in a much more different light. Great acting, storyline and even special effects. The storyline is very creative and has some highlights towards the end.
Stand-outs in the cast would be Elijah Wood, Josh Hartnett, who is always perfet at playing high school roles especially 'bad boy' type characters, and Jordanna Brewster who couldn't have played a better bitch! Robert Patrick and Piper Laurie are also rather scary as teachers taken over by aliens.
Overall The Faculty is a fun and enjoyable teen thriller that reveals the truth about who your teachers really are!
