Review of The Faculty (1998) by Lucas Y — 26 Oct 2010
One of my favorite Rodriguez films. Take the Breakfast Club and add aliens, you get The Faculty. A big problem with high school horror movies these days is the lack of interesting characters. That's not a problem with this.
Characters are all interesting, especially Josh Hartnett giving one of his best performances to date. Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy and the smoking hot Famke Janssen were all enjoyable. The last 5 minutes are kinda lame, but the suspense throughout is pretty much edge of your seat.
And I'll always love the guess the killer movies.
