Review of The Faculty (1998) by Trent W — 11 Aug 2012
Without realizing it, I've become a Robert Rodriguez fan. He seems to have his finger on the pulse of what I find entertaining in several genres. One synopsis of this movie coins it "The Breakfast Club meets Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
" As both of those movies resonated with me, so did this one. Rodriguez mixes the right amount of tension with a modicum of dark humor and some impressive effects to make an impressive Sci-Fi movie with horror aspects.
Likeable characters believably acted.
