Review of The Face of Love (2013) by Frances H — 14 Oct 2014
I really like this powerful but touching story of love and loss that reminded me of Vertigo, with the main character's obsession with a man who looks like her lost husband, and whom she tries to make her new lover become.
The outcome here is far more poetic, whereas in Vertigo, there was poetic justice, but not the upward spin.
