Review of The Face of an Angel (2014) by Giancarlo A — 19 Jun 2015
Face of an Angel never quite seems to figure out what it is. Part mystery/true crime fiction, midlife crisis, suspense, arthouse, surrealist thriller, tortured artist film about the making of art, journalistic integrity and yet another film about a middle aged man who is saved by a young woman.
There are a few moments of interest, but for the most part it is more of a meandering mess than anything of note.
