Tammy Faye has been a caracature of herself for so long it was almost impossible to think of her without conjuring up an image of a hysterical woman with black mascara running down her face. I've never been a fan of Tammy Faye, but this documentary helps the audience see her as a real person with more than a few redeeming qualities.
