The rise and fall of the Bakker empire is tragic and says a lot about religious hypocrisy. That Falwell retained power for so long is a national embarrassment. Anyway, this film slips up once the 1990s start; we never really see the person behind Tammy Faye.
It might have been the filmmakers intention, but either he failed or Tammy is a master of disguise.
