Review of The Expendables 3 (2014) by Djnicey — 16 Aug 2014

I thought this movie was a complete waste of time. It was nowhere near as entertaining as the first two Expendables that I really enjoyed. The plot was extremely weak, chock full of cliches and was completely predictable. I know that's kind of the point with these films, but this one doesn't pull it off well. You always know whats coming next with this film, it doesn't have any surprises or interesting scenes. The actors are far too good for the plot.

It was also a bad idea reducing the rating to PG-13, I had a bunch of inconsiderate kids in front of me that couldn't stop texting every 5 minutes. In trying to expand the market for this film the producers have just made it suck more. I doubt I'll be watching 4, if it ever gets made.
