Review of The Expendables 3 (2014) by Official C — 03 Sep 2014

I went to see it because I was bored and it was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be! It's very noisy, so avoiding sitting next to the speakers. About 70% of the way through, the plot is abandoned and it becomes a lot of very good action scenes. Not too many one-liners. Antonio Banderas and Wesley Snipes do some proper acting alongside Stallone and Statham. Harrison Ford still has an amazing aura and he nearly takes over the entire movie at one point. Mel Gibson is too old and out of shape to be the character that he is acting.

The rest are along for the action scenes and one-liners. Buy some popcorn, some beer and you won't be unhappy spending 90 minutes on this.
