Review of The Expendables (2010) by Grouchospaceman — 02 Oct 2010

Easily the worst movie I've had the misfortune of sitting through all year. I don't always pay close attention to the directing but it was so incredibly terrible throughout the film that you had to notice.

in some scenes you can see the insane amount of makeup that is caked on Sylvester Stallone face. sly looks so ridiculous at this point that it is hard not to laugh at his appearance. he looks as if his face has been frozen while he was in the middle of his best Charlie Chaplin impersonation.

I was fully expecting this to be an action packed movie with a weak story and yet I was still disappointed and at times really bored with the movie. I can only pray that the rumors of a sequel are false, however, maybe Sly could do a remake of the Chaplin biopic.
