Review of The Expendables (2000) by Ma'ark T — 29 Aug 2012
A throw-back to the good ol' days of action films. Fantastic action sequences and cheesy one liners this movie doesn't apologise for being brainless and doesn't have to. Unfortunately in today's post-Bourne world we have become accustomed to action being accompanied by a thrilling plot and decent acting performances.
It's just a shame that with so many big names it feels like a slightly wasted opportunity.
