Review of The Expendables (2000) by Adam B — 20 Jan 2013
It should have been exactly what it says on the tin, it should have been mind blowing and amazing but it was actually quite average. Theres a pretty good chemistry between Stallone and Statham but then thats about as far as it goes with the big action movie stars that was meant to be the films unique selling point.
Bruce Willis and Schwarzenegger have about 7 lines between them, I really don't know what the point of them being in it was. Theres a fair amount of action, mostly explosions but no real intensity or originality to try and get the audience interested.
With the cast the film has this really shouldn't have been so average.
