Review of The Expendables (2000) by Kieran F — 16 Jul 2013

I'll admit the film is a little shallow but..you know what? I don't care when I heard about this film I went into it expecting it to be a fun old school action flick and that's what I got and.

..that's what I wanted I'll admit the story is a little on the low side but again I didn't care. I found lots of enjoyment in the film,from seeing Jet li Kick the shit out of Dolph Lundgren(an actor I always loathed) to seeing Stallone go Rambo,no pun intended, on Stone cold it was fun and I got exactly what I was expecting out of this film.

I didn't go into this film for a interesting story or a complex story..hell I didn't go into this film even because of the tallent. I went into this film because I wanted to see a good old fashioned kick ass action flick with lots of explosions and lots of fighting and in the end leave with my adrenaline pumping.

..And that's exactly what this film did for me. I can't wait to see the sequel. My favorite Character? Jason Stathams.
