Review of The Expendables 2 (2012) by Jay M — 26 Jul 2013

The Expendables are back in another "WAM!" - "BAM!" - "SHOOT'EM UP!" - "NON STOP!" - "MILATERY MOVIE JAM!"... This movie has a compendium of action movie clichés; a compendium of one-liners; & an all star action movie cast from the last century that are soon to become a part of the action movie museum. The plotting is pretty elementary for an action movie without much mystery; & the script of dialog relatively simple.

For me: this film, will not, go into, my top, 20 favorites, of, action movies, for the, last century. It did not invigorate much entertainment for me because it was a little to over the top for my taste in an action movie. The action scenes were a little to far fetched: & the last second pull it off by the skin of your teeth moments were foreseeable. Due in big part to the loveable cast of action stars: entertainment was there... I would give it a borderline thumb.
