"And after 5 days of agonizing pain, the snake died". Or so it goes. I didn't know whether to laugh or to cringe at that moment. Same goes for I'll be back" or "Yippekayay". I'll say this though, they really pumped up the testosterone for this one... I don't have much to say about this sequel, at least nothing much to add on to my review for the first one. It was definitely and improvement, with a little more plot and direction, with Stallone clearly having a better idea of what he wanted this time. Just like the first one, it was mindless fun and explosions, but this time we were ready for it, and it also helped that people knew what they were in for this time round. Not an old fashioned 80s plot driven action movie, but one which has a "No Greymatter Required" rating. With news that a third installment is coming, I really hope this trilogy culminates with the best. Lets just hope, that Stallones gives us a big blow out. Or at least one that we'll remember, fondly.
