One of the creepiest movies I have ever seen. Miles ahead of the overrated original, with brilliant direction courtesy of Blatty and three wonderful performances by Scott, Dourif, and Miller. There are many amazing scary set pieces throughout that are made even more terrifying by an insanely thick atmosphere of dread.
A really uncomfortable viewing experience, and one of the best horror films ever made.
