Review of The Exorcist (1973) by Joss H — 21 Sep 2012
Though I think it has lost a lot of its shock value over the years, there were still a couple of scenes that genuinely disturbed my senses. It's also a very well acted movie, with well-rounded characters that all have interesting stories to tell.
As a plot and character-driven story, 'The Exorcist' succeeds fairly well. As a scary movie, it falls short in my opinion.
