Review of The Exorcist (1973) by Bradyboy12 — 05 Feb 2014
The Exorcist is very slow at first, but at about halfway through the movie, a disturbing scene shakes things up. From there it gets creepier and more disturbing. There are not many jump scares, but the whole sight of this little girl horribly possessed by a demon and the actions she does.
The "Crucifix scene" is perhaps the most disturbing scene you will see in a movie. Overall, a very scary film that holds its own even after 40 years.
