Review of The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005) by John M — 22 Nov 2010
It doesn't have the cheesy effects of the excorcist but is also too slick and generic the be considered as scary. The fact that this is based on a real court case does send chills down your spine and the supernatural vs psychological argument is intriguing enough.
Jennifer Carpenter does very well given most of the time she is screaming and self harming throughout most of the film.
