Review of The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005) by Millo T — 05 Jul 2013
Good approach to this controverted real story, trying to reflect the point of view of both parts in the judgment, the evolution of the legal process (mainly, it´s a lawyers movie), and the doubt about certain facts which could be product of paranormal activities.
Taking apart the end (I am not going to tell it), I´ll give my opinion: I would have condemned the priest to the maximum penalty. Unfortunately, we have seen so many cases in which people with high religious values disobey doctors and make patients suffer a terrible process because of superstition and people who think that are over science. The last I listened was about the mother of a girl, who wanted to get the demons out of her girl, and what got out from her body was her own utterus. Be aware of ignorant good intentions...
