4/5. The Exorcism of Emily Rose is an interesting twist on a possession movie, in that it is more of a legal thriller that takes place after the spooky stuff. The story is very interesting and does a good job of presenting both sides of the case.
It could use a few more scares, but Jennifer Carpenter gives a haunting performance as the titular Emily Rose.
