Review of The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005) by Maddy H — 03 Jul 2011
So much potential ruined within a too long two hours. What could have been a creepy exorcism film (though still average), became a less than average "court-room-drama". Whoever had the awful idea to tell the story of an exorcism through a lawyer should just stop writing films. Jennifer Carpenter created a beautiful character, and never once displayed anything less than acting gold, yet she alone could not overcome the awful writing, and acting employed throughout the film.
Could have been something average. Instead.... it was this.
Don't see it.
