Review of The Ex-File 3: The Return of the Exes (2017) by Rex W — 22 Feb 2018

This movie is great. The humor and everything... The soundtrack was well fitting and the plot was realistic about how a immaturity destroys a great potential for everlasting love. However, some parts were definitely overdramatize.

To fully appreciate this movie, an understanding of Chinese culture and language is extremely important as many of the jokes and cultural elements cannot be directly translated into English. This movie was crude at times with sexual jokes yet other times felt like a knife toning your heart.

Though some might say it is simply just ambitious, I think it did what it tried to communicate very well.
