Review of The Ex (2006) by Pat G — 10 Jan 2009
Finally, a surprising funny "romantic comedy". When exactly did Jason Bateman become funny. To me, just a bad child/teen actor, but as an adult found several good roles. As with every romantic comedy, the story is cliché, but there are several really funny scenes and overall the large cast, including Fred Armisen from SNL, Charles Grodin, and a too brief appearance by Paul Rudd in particular, keep the laughs going.
Nice diversion.
