The final product is sloppy. It seemed to me that this didn't really go through any stage of re-writing; some of the more random gags didn't seem like they were random to enhance shock, but instead random because it was just an idea that got tossed around and never addressed again before shooting.
Because of a solid cast, the movie was halfway enjoyable.
