This was mince. The kid couldn't act, he kept the same blank smile on for the whole movie. He was like that kid that Joey tries to get to cry in Friends. And who would decide to go to a remote lakehouse where the phones don't work if a psycho is after you? When the kid sets her alight, why does she turn into a fireball in 2 seconds flat? Had she been bathing in gasoline? All she had to do was take off her coat.
At the very most roll around a bit on the ground or jump in the lake which is RIGHT there.
