Review of The Ewok Adventure (1984) by Bob S — 06 Feb 2008
Now I'm sure if you've seen this film, you'll think I slapped a five star rating on it only because it sports the Star Wars name. You'd be wrong; hear me out. The Ewok Adventure was originally a made-for-TV movie to give kids another fix of that lovely universe from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
It's a kid movie, and a damn good one. Although one probably couldn't deduce it in the present times, this was actually quite high budget for its time. We all know Lucasfilm doesn't mess around with production value.
Anyway, the story is solid, the visuals are great, and we get more Ewoks. What more could you want?
