Review of The Ewok Adventure (1984) by Cade L — 04 Jun 2009

I have great memories of this movie and it's sequel. Despite what many Star Wars fans have said, the Ewoks are one of my favorite pieces of the mythology. Once one gets past the ambiguous connection to Star Wars, this film is good fantasy.

I personally place it directly in regular continuity which makes it better for me. Sure there are some horrid special/visual effects and acting, but the story is actually well thought out in its own right, and frankly, Ewoks are great characters.

I'm glad this film exists and we can watch it. I wish they would allow for more expanded uinverse type adventures to be made from Star Wars.
